Purex Ultra Packs Liquid Laundry Detergent Review!
I was recently given the opportunity as a Purex Insider to receive a full-size sample of Purex Ultra Packs Liquid Laundry Detergent to use and write a review. You are probably asking, what is a Purex Ultra Pack?
Purex Ultra Packs are:
*Convenient pre-dosed liquid detergent packs that make doing laundry easier then ever.
*No more mess. No more spills. No more heavy jugs. It's Laundry Simplified.
*Each Purex Ultra Pack contains powerful 2X concentrated liquid detergent.
*Dissolves quickly once the washer is started - even in cold water.
*Formulated and safe for all machines, including high-efficiency (HE).
I was very excited to receive the sample. I recently was complaining about how I hate when the detergent runs down the bottle and gets on whatever you set the bottle on and makes a mess. Using these little Ultra Packs there was NO mess...I LOVE IT! At first I was unsure how it would work and dissolve the little sack holding the liquid. So I started filling the washer with water and I dropped the pack in. I watched for a little while and nothing seemed to happen so I reached in and squeezed it and the liquid poured out and seemed to pool together in the water. My first impression was, where's the bubbles and soap suds? Then I thought, oh well I will stick with my other laundry detergent. So I put my clothes in and walked away. A few minutes later I found a couple of socks that fell out of the laundry basket and went to throw them into the washer and was very surprised by all the bubbles and soap suds. I was thinking maybe this is good detergent after all. I have two kids in my house that play hard and get really dirty (my 6 year old son and my husband). These little Ultra Packs did a great job on our laundry. Our clothes were clean and smelled fresh. After the first load I stopped watching the little packs in the water and boy was it quick and easy to do laundry with out the mess.
Yesterday, my teenage daughter decided to throw a load of her clothes in the washer and asked me which bottle is the laundry detergent? I went in and told her she needed to try the Ultra Packs. I gave her one to feel and told her to start filling the washer and then throw the pack in. She asked, is that all? I said, that's all, now you can add your clothes. Her reply was, that's cool! I am sure when she heads off to college she will be a Purex Ultra Pack user.

Make Ahead Monday Dinner Review!
Tonight we had Simply Delicious Pork. It actually was simply delicious, the pork was tender, moist and fell off the bone. The cinnamon and apples really gave it a nice flavor. We weren't thrilled with all the apples though. They were very soft and mushy and none of us cared for them. I actually ate more apple preparing the crock pot meal then I did eating it. But with out the apples cooking with the pork, the pork would not have tasted so good. My daughter actually ate the pork and liked it. We all gave this meal a 7. The picture really doesn't do it justice because the apples turned brown while cooking.

GAME NIGHTS ARE THE BEST!
We love having game nights in our house. It is so much fun just sitting around the table playing with the kids. My six year old loves the game of LIFE, but he doesn't like loosing though. We are still trying to teach him that it doesn't matter if you win or loose as long as you have fun.
We also love when we get a bunch of friends together and have a themed game night. The theme is more geared toward the food everyone brings and decorations we use. The games we play usually vary depending on which friends are over, but in the end it is a fun filled night.
If you don't have a game night with your family or friends, then it's about time you started. You are missing out on a lot of fun! Who cares if your house is a mess! If they are your friends they won't care as long as the food and company are good!

Make Ahead Monday Recipe!
I will be making Simply Delicious Pork in my crock pot on Monday. After dinner my family will give a review of how they liked or disliked it. Below is the recipe.
Simply Delicious Pork
1 1/2 lbs. boneless pork loin or 6 pork chops
4 medium Yellow Delicious apples, sliced
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place pork in slow cooker. Cover with apples.
Combine brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl; sprinkle over apples. Cover; cook on low 6-8 hours.
I invite all of you to join me on MAKE AHEAD MONDAY and make this crock pot meal and have your family review and rate it. Then post your review in the comments of my review post. My family loves rating the meal. Get your family involved they will love reviewing it with you.
